Ik hou jullie op de hoogte.
Oh ja, ik telde meer dan dertig garnalen, wat volgens mij betekent dat er minstens zestig in moeten zitten... En ik zag vandaag weer een kleintje van zo'n anderhalve millimeter! Toffe beestjes!
[A happy surprise this afternoon! I looked in my small fish tank (I look in it all the time, but this time I watched a little closer as usual, because I hoped to be able to count my shrimps) and I saw a little fish at the surface. It was a little more than five millimeters long, transparent, but already with a little blue eye. So it was clear who were the parents, the lantern eye fish (Aplocheilichtys normannii), that swim in my tank for more than a month now. In the picture above you can see the proud parents. It seems they feel at home in my aquarium. I do have enough plants where young fish can hide. By the way, this is my first young in more than two years, so I am very happy! Always nice to see some new life. Now I hope the young one survives. And if there will be brothers or sisters coming soon. I'll keep you informed.
Oh, I counted more than thirty shrimps, which probably means there are sixty or more in the tank... And I spotted a little shrimp (1,5 millimeter). Great!]
