De beste film van 2007

Daar ben ik van overtuigd.
Na het einde van de Lord of the Rings-trilogie en de Matrix-trilogie en het wat tegenvallende derde deel van de X-men-serie, heb ik nu de meeste verwachtigen voor de volgende Spider-man film. Deze week verscheen het officiële voorfilmpje op internet.
En ik moet zeggen: het ziet er spectaculair uit. De Sandman is gelukkig niet lachwekkend (voor een man die zijn lichaam in levend zand kan veranderen), Peter Parker is nog steeds Peter Parker, blijkt onder andere uit zijn gesprek met tante May en zijn innerlijke conflict is mooi weergegeven. Het buitenaardse kostuum, dat ooit zal veranderen in het monster Venom, dient als illustratie van het gevecht in Peters binnenste: gebruikt hij zijn kracht voor zichzelf, of niet? Heiligt het doel de middelen? Als je krachtig bent, betekent het dat je opeens alles mag, of gaat grote kracht gepaard met grote verantwoordelijkheid?

After the Lord of the Rings-trilogy, the Matrix-trilogy and the disappointing third part of the X-men-series, the movie I have the highest expectations of is het next Spider-man. This week the official trailer appeared on the internet.
And I have to say: it looks fantastic. The Sandman is no laughing matter (for someone who can change his body into living sand...), Peter Parker remains Peter Parker, as is clear from his conversation with his aunt May and his inner conflict is well presented. The alien costume, that will once change into the monster Venom, illustrates the battle in Parkers mind: will he use his power for his own good, or won't he? If one is powerfull, does that mean you are allowed to do everything, or does great power come with great responsibility?]
